A 45-bedroom boutique hotel in Guernsey enjoying views of the neighbouring islands of Jersey, Herm and Sark, has gone on the market for £9m.
Located on the outskirts of the island's capital of St Peter Port, Fermain Valley hotel, is being sold by Vista Hotels Group. Last year Vista Hotels Group was refused planning permission to redevelop sister hotel Le Chalet into 17 apartments.
Fermain Valley features two restaurants, a tea room, indoor swimming pool, cinema and events room. The sale includes a three-bedroom cottage and 54 staff bedrooms spread across the 3.35-acre site and nearby properties.
The valley in which the hotel is situated leads down to a beach at Fermain Bay.
Tim Coates, commercial director of owner's Vista Hotels Group, said that the hotel is situated in "one of Guernsey's most picturesque locations".
He added: "The hotel offers a complete booking solution with ATOL licence able to book flights and hotel to ensure it yields some of the island's highest occupancy and yields."
Paul Barrasford, a director in the hotels agency team at property company Colliers International, which is marketing Fermain Valley, said: "The hotel's product offering is fantastic and supports an impressive trading performance, whilst the array of ancillary properties offers significant development potential. We expect to receive a substantial level of interest in this exciting opportunity."
