Carluccio's has announced the appointment of Graham Ford as commercial director.
Ford takes on the position from 5 November as the casual dining brand looks to implement a £10m investment programme that will see its estate refurbished alongside product development and improvements to guest experience.
The programme was agreed with majority shareholder the Landmark Group as part of a Company Voluntary Agreement that saw Carluccio's exit 30 loss-making sites earlier this year.
Ford joins the company from Bill's, where he was chief operating officer, prior to which he was managing director of Jackson + Rye.
Mark Jones, CEO of Carluccio's said: "I'm delighted to secure someone of Graham's experience for our business at this vital time. His strong industry knowledge and insight will be hugely valuable as we embark on a programme that will revitalise the brand and provide a solid platform for the future."
Ford added: "I am incredibly excited to be joining Carluccio's at this time of reinvestment and new thinking. I am looking forward to working with Mark and the senior management team to reaffirm Carluccio's credentials as one of the country's leading Italian casual dining brands."
