Warewash manufacturer Winterhalter UK has announced that Glenn Roberts, the current chair of the Catering Equipment Suppliers Association (CESA), will be joining the company as sales director from September.
Roberts will replace Andy Salter, who has been promoted to managing director of Winterhalter's sister warewash company Classeq.
Previously global head of Polar Refrigeration at Nisbets, Roberts has experience of working for some of the industry's largest companies, including Nisbets, Bunzl and Gram UK/Hoshizaki.
"Andy has proved himself an invaluable member of the Board of Directors in his 19 years at Winterhalter," said Stephen Kinkead, managing director of Winterhalter UK. "He's been hugely influential in increasing the profitability of some of our biggest accounts.
"Glenn's reputation in the industry is second to none, under his watch Gram UK grew significantly, and he helped direct them through several buyouts. We're very pleased to welcome him to Winterhalter and wish both him and Andy the best of success in their new roles."
