The Genuine Dining Co's Lunch Cubed online delivery service has launched a 'roast in the post' in response to the recent restrictions impacting Christmas gatherings around the UK.
The company is offering customers a Christmas dinner delivery from £20+postage, with donations from each order going towards supporting mental health charities including Hospitality Action and Mind.
Boxes contain a starter of prawn, Scottish smoked salmon and crayfish cocktail with bloody Mary ketchup and smoky Parmesan crisps or truffled celeriac and wild mushroom soup with sage and gorgonzola dumplings.
Main course is a maple, caraway seed and thyme glazed roast Norfolk turkey with turkey jus, Cumberland sausage meat stuffing and all the trimmings. The vegetarian option consists of roasted heritage squash, ricotta, spinach and caramelised shallot wellington with cranberry and sage jus. Pudding is a Christmas sticky toffee pudding with rum and raisin butterscotch sauce.
UK addresses have until midnight on Monday 21 December to order their boxes, while London customers can order up until midnight on Tuesday 22 December. Meals will arrive on either 23 or 24 December.
Earlier this month, the Genuine Dining Co launched weekly delivery of five lunches and 10 snacks for £46.50 to see home workers through the week.
