Darts bar Flight Club saw a 62% spike in annual turnover to £7.4m following the launch of its second site in Bloomsbury last year, but reported a pre-tax loss of £161,032 for the same period.
Launched in April 2017, the new venue follows the original Flight Club bar, which opened in Shoreditch in 2015.
While the opening helped to drive growth in turnover for the year ended 31 December 2017, the £507,890 pre-tax profit of the previous year took a 131% negative swing after administrative expenses effectively doubled from £2.07m to £4.14m.
Earlier this year Flight Club submitted a licensing application to open its third London site in Victoria's Nova development. If approved, the venue would be the group's biggest in the capital, with 18 darts playing areas.
Plans are also underway for the company's first venue in Manchester's Ship Canal House, and another in Chicago.
