Following its acquisition by the global food manufacturer, OSI Group, in late 2016, Flagship Europe has announced that it has changed its name to Creative Foods Europe.
Chief executive, Russell Maddock, explained: "Over the past few years, the Flagship Europe group of companies has grown considerably through both organic growth and strategic acquisitions.
"As a result, we felt the need for an identity that better communicates the fact that, thanks to our in-house new product development teams, development chefs, extensive product portfolio and expert market knowledge across the group, we are now able to "create" solutions for our customers in many areas of the foodservice market, hence, the name, Creative Foods Europe."
To coincide with the name change, the company will also be restructuring its sales team to better serve the needs of its customer base.
"Following the acquisition of award winning manufacturer Oliver James Foods and Proper Pies in the summer of 2015, and with the recent purchase of Calder Foods, we have identified a need to split our sales operation into the channels of Traditional Foodservice, Food To Go and B2B to ensure that we are best placed to serve the unique requirements of each sector," Maddock added.
