Burger chain Five Guys has launched its 100th UK restaurant in London's St Paul’s, just six years after its national launch in Covent Garden.
The group has also debuted its breakfast menu in the UK at the St Paul’s site alongside restaurants in Covent Garden, Bristol and Birmingham. The menu includes four breakfast sandwiches with options of egg, cheese and bacon.
The site was secured by Shelley Sandzer, the UK leisure property agency that helped the chain secure its first site.
Five Guys UK CEO John Eckbert said: “Since we first opened our doors in Covent Garden on the 4th of July, 2013, the UK has given us such a warm and enthusiastic welcome.”
Eckbert also revealed plans for continued expansion in the new year, he said: “It’s great to have also worked with Shelley Sandzer on our 100th location – which is an equally iconic London site directly opposite St. Paul’s Cathedral. It feels like we’re just getting started – with so many exciting locations to come.”
