The chef has called the multiple openings at 22 Bishopsgate his "most ambitious" project yet

Gordon Ramsay has opened the doors to his most ambitious project yet in the heart of London.

The chef has launched two restaurants, a bar and a cookery school at 22 Bishopsgate, the tallest building in the City of London, today (3 February).

The project is the subject of an upcoming Netflix documentary series, which will follow Ramsay in the run up to the opening.

Lucky Cat, the fourth location of the chef’s Asian-inspired restaurant concept, has opened on the 60th floor of the building.

The 120-cover dining room (pictured above) features full-height windows with 360-degree views of the London skyline and an open kitchen and sushi bar.

A £35 three-course express lunch menu is on offer 11.30am to 6pm Monday to Friday with dishes including teriyaki salmon and beef gyoza.

Guests can also hire out an 18-seat private dining room (pictured above) which features its own bar with a full AV setup and offers a new £185 a head “Feast” menu with a whole suckling pig and sides.

On the same floor, the Lucky Cat Bar (pictured below) seats 60 guests and serves the group’s largest selection of Japanese whisky. It opens until 1am Monday to Wednesday and 3am Thursday to Sunday.

The 60th floor is also home to Restaurant Gordon Ramsay High (pictured above), a 12-seat chef’s table that pays tribute to the original Restaurant Gordon Ramsay in Chelsea, which has held three Michelin stars for 23 years.

Executive head chef James Goodyear serves reimagined versions of dishes from the Royal Hospitality Road restaurant, including its pecan parfait and Parker House roll.

A complimentary chauffeur service is available for guests traveling to and from Liverpool Street Station from 5pm to midnight on weekdays, 12pm to midnight on Saturdays, and 12pm to 8pm on Sundays.

The second outpost of the Gordon Ramsay Academy cookery school (pictured above) has opened on the 58th floor. The original launched in Woking, Surrey in 2021.

It will provide guidance on creating everything from bao buns to the perfect, steak, pasta and Beef Wellington.

The final stages of the project, the Lucky Cat Terrace and an outpost of the chef’s casual Bread Street Kitchen restaurant, will open later this year.

Ramsay said: “I’ve been lucky enough to open restaurants all over the world, but there’s something truly unique about London. It’s where my journey began, and it’s the city I’m proud to call home.

"Watching it evolve into a global culinary powerhouse has been remarkable. Building this beautiful space has been an ambitious project, but that’s exactly what makes Gordon Ramsay Restaurants so special— we never stop pushing boundaries.

"I couldn’t be more excited to open three of our most iconic restaurants, all reimagined, taken to new heights, and built under one roof, it’s a dream come true and a major milestone for our business."
