The new Hard Rock Hotel London offered a glimpse through the doors ahead of its launch next spring.
The 1,000-bedroom hotel will open near Marble Arch following the transformation of the Cumberland hotel, which was a favourite of 1960s rock legend Jimi Hendrix.
Hard Rock Hotel London is expected to pay tribute to Hendrix and other former residents such as Diana Ross, Bob Dylan, Stevie Wonder and Madonna, as well as leading contemporary artists, with a collection of music memorabilia.
Architectural and interior design practice Scott Brownrigg is behind the new design, which aims to cater to the needs of both business and leisure travellers. It will feature two bars, a 370-seat Hard Rock Cafe and a Rock Shop selling Hard Rock merchandise.
Guests will be able to upgrade their rooms to Rock Royalty rooms and suites, which include a personal concierge and access to an exclusive lounge.
Oliver Kahf, general manager of Hard Rock Hotel London, said: "Hard Rock is a world-class institution where contemporary style and comfort meets rock star service. This building has stood at the intersection of British music and fashion since the 1930s and when we open in spring 2019, it's sure to become a go-to London hotspot once again."
The Hard Rock Hotel London will be owned and operated by GLH Hotels.
