There is just one day left to nominate the Independent Hotelier and Outstanding New Hotel of 2017, to be announced at the Independent Hotel Show in October.
The awards intend to celebrate the individuality, locality, freedom, personality and innovation of independent hotels
The Independent Hotelier award will be presented to a creative individual who has driven the luxury boutique hotel sector forward. He or she will have made a significant contribution to the independent hotel sector and be renowned for creating exceptional guest experiences, as well as being committed to the development of their team and the success of their establishment.
Meanwhile, the Outstanding New Hotel award will go to a dynamic property that has been operating for less than three years. The property will be a game-changer that provides exemplary service and demonstrates business efficiency.
Nominations should be made by the end of the day tomorrow (14 July) by visiting the Independent Hotel Show Awards website. A shortlist of six nominees for each category will then be created by a panel of industry experts.
The winners will be chosen by members of the hotel industry, by voting via the show registration form, and will be announced on Tuesday 17 October at the Independent Hotel Show at Olympia, London.
Last year's Independent Hotelier was Kate Levin, general manager of the Capital hotel in Knightsbridge, London, while the Laslett hotel, Notting Hill, London, carried off the Outstanding New Hotel title.
