The first luxury trackside hotel and clubhouse at Silverstone Circuit in Northamptonshire is set to open for guests in spring 2024.
Escapade Silverstone will feature 60 apartment-style ‘residences’ with between two and four bedrooms overlooking the racetrack for guests to stay in overnight.
The £90m, 14-acre development is expected to launch in time for the 2024 British Grand Prix, when Formula 1 makes its annual trip to Silverstone.
Guests will be able to watch the racing from private balconies and roof terraces or a clubhouse with sightlines of nine of the racetrack’s corners, including the Copse and two high-speed straights.
The ground floor of the clubhouse will house a 15-metre trackside swimming pool with floor to ceiling windows, a ‘driver-focused’ gym, sauna and treatment rooms.
British-inspired dishes will be served in the on-site restaurant, which will also feature private dining areas and a roof terrace looking down on the circuit.
Escapade Silverstone will run a year-round calendar of events, including track days, live entertainment, business hospitality and club meets, as well as a rotating art programme. The racetrack's event space hosted the 2023 Michelin Guide Great Britain and Ireland star revelation ceremony earlier this year.
Stephen Nash, general manager of Escapade Silverstone, said: “The clubhouse provides guests, drivers and their teams with the chance to come off the track, power down and connect with like-minded individuals. The space celebrates Silverstone's rich heritage and elevates its innovative future.”
While the development is designed to act as a year-round hospitality experience, some of the two, three and four-bedroom residences will be available to purchase.
Bookings for Escapade Silverstone will open 14 November
