The Michelin-starred Endo at the Rotunda in London’s White City will close on 15 March for refurbishment.
Chef Endo Kazutoshi opened the omakase restaurant in April 2019, which went onto receive its first star in the 2020 Michelin Guide Great Britain & Ireland.
Endo at the Rotunda is scheduled to reopen in late summer with new interiors and a “more immersive and personal omakase experience”.
The upgraded design will be led by architect Kengo Kuma, who was involved in the initial opening of the restaurant. A new bar area and a guest-facing kitchen will be introduced as part of the refurbishment.
During the closure, Kazutoshi will be leading on Creative Restaurant Group’s new openings, which include Niju in 20 Berkeley Street in Mayfair at the end of March and Kioku by Endo at the OWO in Whitehall at the end of April.
Kazutoshi said: “I want to make Rotunda more intimate, like you are coming into my home, a place where you can feel relaxed and enjoy the food that comes from my family, heart and culture."
Creative Restaurant Group was founded by Misha Zelman in 2021 and includes a portfolio of restaurants including Endo at the Rotunda and Humo in London’s Mayfair.
