Emily Coubrough, a 2021 Acorn Award winner, has been appointed director of front of house at the Rosewood London hotel.
She started her new role this month after spending seven years working at the Savoy hotel in London.
Coubrough graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a degree in international hospitality management and joined the Savoy in 2015 as a receptionist. She worked her way up through reception supervisor, assistant front office and front officer manager roles to take on a position as guest experience and communications manager during the pandemic, where she co-ordinated a team to improve guest services.
Coubrough was among 30 winners of the 2021 Acorn Awards, which recognise rising stars in the industry under 30-years-old.
Michael Bonsor, managing director of the Rosewood London, said: “We're delighted to have welcomed Emily Coubrough to Rosewood London as director of front of house.
“Her years of experience and expertise will be invaluable in guiding the front of house team and elevating the hotel's hospitality offering further. Emily is a fantastic team player, with her peer-nominated Acorn Award being a testament to how she inspires others and we're confident she'll make a great impression amongst her peers and guests.”
