Equipment manufacturer Electrolux Professional has launched an advisory document detailing cleaning and hygiene best practice.
Clean, Sanitise, Decontaminate: How to choose your solution explains the many sanitary challenges currently faced by businesses across a number of industries and aims to provide impartial advice on the most appropriate cleaning solution to mitigate the spread of infection.
The document classifies industries and applications into three different risk levels. Each risk level is matched to suitable equipment and technology, ranging from commercial washing and drying technology through to the creation of bespoke laundry appliances suitable for solving complicated decontamination issues, such as those that employ liquid carbon dioxide.
The guide also provides specific advice on the cleaning of reusable personal protective equipment and how to mitigate cross-contamination.
Darren Lockley, head of region – UK and Ireland at Electrolux Professional, said: “Now more than ever, cleaning and hygiene are at the forefront of business leaders’ minds. There is no room for error when it comes to decontamination, and it is vitally important that organisations can access impartial, concise and clear guidance.”
The document can be found on the Electrolux Professional website.
