The pizza chain warned the supply of dips would be disrupted over the next few days.
Domino’s Pizza has withdrawn two of its popular dips from sale and issued a warning to customers with allergies.
The chain discovered traces of peanut in batches of its Garlic & Herb and Honey & Mustard dips over the weekend.
It said the dips “could pose a risk for people with peanut allergies” and has advised customers to dispose of the items if they are allergic.
A Domino’s Pizza spokesperson said: “Domino’s takes food safety very seriously and we are working urgently with our supplier to understand how this happened and ensure it doesn’t happen again.
“There will be disruption to the supply of dips in the coming days while we wait for new supplies to arrive and appreciate customers’ understanding during this time.”
Domino’s has over 1,300 stores across the UK and Ireland that employ more than 35,000 people.
The company today launched a recruitment campaign to hire 5,000 new staff across both countries ahead of its busiest peak season.
It is hiring delivery drivers, in-store workers and pizza makers to join its expanding business.
The master franchise for the region is held by Domino’s Pizza Group.
