Dolmio and Uncle Bens Foodservice Student Catering Challenge finalists revealed

Mars Foodservice announced eight finalists for its Dolmio and Uncle Bens Foodservice Student Catering Challenge.

 

They are: Charlene Sadler, North Hertfordshire College; Sujin Chung, University of West London; Joshua Singer, Westminster Kingsway College; Luke Watkins, North Hertfordshire College; Thomas Bell, University College Birmingham; Jordan Pomerance, North Hertfordshire College; Luca Castiglioni, Westminster Kingsway College; and Remy Sharman, North Hertfordshire College.

 

The finalists will now battle it out in a live cook-off at this year's Hotelympia show at ExCel, London on 5 March 2018 at the Live Theatre.

 

Students will have one hour to demonstrate their culinary skills and serve two dishes suitable for a street food menu.

 

Best Street Food Sharing Platter, Best Healthy Street Food Lunch, Best Street Food Dessert and Best Overall Menu will be awarded on the day. The Winner of each category will receive £200 of Nisbets vouchers, with the Winner of the Best Overall Menu receiving £400 of Nisbets vouchers.
