Baked goods manufacturer Délifrance has launched a new guide aimed at helping operators overcome the challenges facing the industry.
Titled ‘Smart Guide: Time Saving & Low Budget Service Solutions', the online booklet aims to give advice and recommendations to help address issues such as price inflation and staffing challenges.
Advice around how to tackle rising inflation includes recommendations for meal deals, light bites and snacks that meet tighter budgets, while staffing issue guidance includes recipes for dishes that are simple for less skilled staff to recreate.
The bakery company researched over 40 foodservice providers, from wholesalers to operators, across six European countries including the UK, to understand how best to support businesses and used the findings to create the guide.
Stéphanie Brillouet, Délifrance marketing director, said while the foodservice sector “is showing strong signs of recovery following the pandemic”, operators are facing a new set of challenges.
Brillouet added Délifrance is “pleased to share our expertise in this guide full of mouth-watering recipes, actionable tips and low-cost solutions to help partners weather the storm over the coming year”.
