Deliciously Ella has announced the closure of two branches as the company focuses on its largest site.
Eleanor Mills told her 1.3m Instagram followers that The Kitchen Counter, in Herne Hill, and Deliciously Ella At Seymour Place, Marylebone, would close on Wednesday. The closures will leave one MaE site in Weighhouse Street, close to Bond Street station, open.
Mills said: "We're really going to miss Seymour and Herne Hill and both will always have such a special place in the Deliciously Ella journey, but we're excited for all of the things to come at Weighhouse Street, and look forward to seeing you there soon."
The social media star exploded into the limelight in 2012 with her natural, plant-based recipe blog Deliciously Ella.
She has since released two cookbooks and opened delis, as well as launching a catering service and a range of healthy snacks.
A spokesman for Deliciously Ella has said: "Seymour Place was seen as a way of testing, two years ago, whether Deliciously Ella could attract their digital following to a physical offering. It proved very successful but it quickly became apparent that the success would warrant a larger space. Weighhouse Street was then offered to them which allows a more diverse food offering and has proved to be incredibly popular. This decision has been made as it makes little sense to have two sites in such close proximity."
