The Aussie-style brunch group will soon have 17 restaurants across London.
The Australian-inspired Daisy Green Collection is set to open a new restaurant, Glamarama Green, in London’s South Kensington next month.
The restaurant group was founded by Prue Freeman and Tom Onions in 2012 and has since expanded to 16 London sites, which includes bars, restaurants, two floating boat diners and a coffee van.
These include Peggy Jean at Riverside Green in Richmond, Timmy Green in London’s Victoria and Ziggy Green on London’s Regent Street.
Its latest outpost, Glamarama Green, combines the charm of Australia’s Tamarama beach in Sydney with the heritage of the nearby Victoria & Albert Museum.
The 1,600 sq ft restaurant features art commissioned by artists such as Rose Blake and Collagism, a 40-cover outdoor terrace, a downstairs Green Room inspired by William Morris, and a vintage vinyl record player.
The Exhibition Road site will open its doors on 7 August.
In 2021, the Daisy Green Collection raised over £1m through a crowdfunding campaign that sought to support its “ambitious expansion plans”.
