Foodservice firm Crown Partnership has brought home counties caterer Dayer's into its business as part of a deal with its founder.
Dayer's, which runs workplace cafes, coffee bars, and staff restaurants in Hampshire, will continue to be run by Dawn Wright, who established the business in 2001 with her first site, in Basingstoke.
The deal, billed as a merger, adds 25 sites across the home counties to Crown Partnership's portfolio.
Dayer's employs 75 staff and the deals it holds with its portfolio of clients, including BNP Paribas, TaylorMade Golf and London Arriva, are said to be worth in excess of £2m.
Dawn Wright, managing director of Dayer's, said: "This is a very exciting time for Dayer's.
"We are delighted to join Crown Partnership and benefit from the wealth of knowledge and expertise that the Partnership brings.
"It feels a very natural fit as we continue to grow the Dayer's brand."
Speaking on the addition to the Partnership, Charles Beer, senior partner at the Crown Partnership added: "When we first met Dawn we knew there was a fantastic match in terms of an entrepreneurial approach to delivering service solutions.
"We love their drive and enthusiasm and passion for customer service, so it feels the right fit for Dawn and her team to join the partnership."
