Craig Robson has been appointed food and beverage director of Malmaison & Hotel du Vin.
Robson first joined the company in 2012 as food and beverage operations manager at Malmaison Liverpool. He was then promoted to deputy general manager at Malmaison Newcastle.
Most recently, Robson served as opening general manager at Malmaison York in 2021, responsible for the development and launch of Malmaison’s Sora, a pan-Asian tapas and cocktail rooftop bar.
In his new role, he will continue to collaborate with the executive team to further enhance Malmaison’s F&B offering.
Scott Harper, chief operating officer of Malmaison & Hotel du Vin, said: “The introduction of this role reemphasises the importance of catering to Malmaison & Hotel du Vin which has always been the heart and soul of our lifestyle brands. Being able to appoint from within for this pivotal new role further validates our mission to prioritise homegrown talent. Craig Robson is the epitome of this ethos.”
Both Malmaison and Hotel du Vin are part of Frasers Property, a multinational investor-developer-manager of real estate.
