Closure of Ceviche Soho announced

The owners of Ceviche Soho have announced the closure of the restaurant after 13 years of operation.

The site was first opened by Martin Morales in 2012 who went on to open other Ceviche sites in the capital. In 2019 the Ceviche group fell into administration and the Frith Street site was bought by Rosa’s Thai Café founders Alex and Saiphin Moore in a management-led buy-out deal which included Andina in Shoreditch and Casita Andina in Soho.

Casita Andina closed during the Covid pandemic, while Andina in Shoreditch continues to trade.

A statement on Ceviche Soho’s website said: “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closure of our beloved Ceviche Soho. After 13 incredible years of pioneering Peruvian cuisine in this city, the time has come for us to say goodbye to what has become our little corner of home.

“We want to express the deepest thanks to our team, whose passion and hard work have never waivered, even throughout the hardest of times. Your commitment and passion for your work made this a place to work like no other. Thank you for making Ceviche all that it was. What a journey it has been.”
