Adam Handling has appointed Cleverson Cordeiro as head chef of his flagship Covent Garden restaurant Frog by Adam Handling.
The site had previously been overseen by Steven Kerr, executive chef to the six-venue strong bar and restaurant group.
Brazilian-born, Cordeiro joined the Adam Handling group in 2017. He had previously spent seven years at Maze in Mayfair working under chefs including Gordon Ramsay, James Petrie, Jason Atherton and Anna Haugh.
He said: "I can't wait to take on this new position, it's a brilliant opportunity to carry on pushing my creativity and I'm looking forward to managing and mentoring the excellent kitchen team we have here at Frog by Adam Handling."
Handling added: "Cleverson has been part of the Adam Handling Group for nearly two years now. He was part of the starting kitchen team when Frog by Adam Handling first opened in 2017 and has been an irreplaceable part of it since! I'm so pleased to announce him as my first ever head chef for the restaurant and I have no doubt that he's going to excel in this new role."
