The only Chicken Liquor restaurant has closed to undergo refurbishment and relaunch as a Meat Liquor next week.
Scott Collins, Meat Liquor co-founder and managing director, said: "We are constantly updating our venues and offering to make sure they never get tired, and now it's Chicken Liquor's turn."
Set to reopen on Thursday 23 November, the venue in London's Brixton will offer the full Meat Liquor menu and feature artwork by I Love Dust.
Co-founders Scott Collins and Yianni Papoutsis grew the brand from a street van in 2009. It now has 12 sites, including the recently opened London King's Cross venue, although it is preparing to close its original site in Marylebone as the building is being demolished to make way for a hotel, and it also closed its Bristol venue last month, citing a "series of incidents" involving the safety of members of staff.
