Chef Ambassadors’ supper clubs showcase pure Canadian maple syrup

Maple from Canada UK has partnered with several industry chefs in a series of supper clubs this summer featuring specially developed menus and drinks created with pure Canadian maple syrup.

Chocolatier William Curley (pictured) hosted an afternoon tea at his London chocolate salon, where selected guests could try pâtisserie and chocolate treats made using maple syrup or maple sugar.

In Scotland, Peter McKenna, co-owner of three-AA-rosette restaurant the Gannet in Glasgow, will be hosting a supper club on 5 August, when his dishes inspired by local, Scottish artisan producers, foragers and farmers will incorporate Canadian maple syrup.

And last in the series, founders of Welsh street food venture and restaurant Hang Fire Southern Kitchen, Samantha Evans and Shauna Guinn will be showing the versatility of pure Canadian maple syrup as a marinade and ingredient for outdoor cooking at an intimate event in Cardiff on the 12 August.

Recipes from William Curley, Peter McKenna, Samantha Evans and Shauna Guinn will be available after the events from the Maple from Canada UK website
