Martin Robinson, chairman of holiday village operator Center Parcs UK, is to deliver the Savoy Lecture at the first Arena event of 2015.
Robinson will provide an insight into the Center Parcs story to date and look at topical and current industry issues and forthcoming trends.
As chairman since 1999, Robinson has profitably led the business under the ownership of Scottish & Newcastle as a standalone plc, the private equity ownership with DB Capital Partners/Mid Ocean, and currently Blackstone. He was also chief executive and chairman of Center Parcs Europe from 1996 until its sale to Pierre & Vacances in 2004.
Under his leadership of Center Parcs Europe, EBITDA grew from £85m to £150m, and for Center Parcs UK he has realised an impressive EBITDA growth from £36m to £147m.
Held at London's Savoy hotel, the lecture on Monday 23 March will be followed by a drinks reception and three-course dinner.
