The Casual Dining Group (CDG) has signed a deal to move into two more InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) franchised hotels.
The group behind brands including Bella Italia, Café Rouge and Las Iguanas, will open restaurants in Holiday Inn in Wigston, Leicestershire, and Hotel Indigo, in London Paddington, following an agreement with the hotels' owner the London Town Group.
CDG has designed a white label offering for Hotel Indigo's existing London Street Brasserie, which will continue to operate under the same name, with the group also delivering bar, conference and banqueting services.
In the Wigston hotel, CDG will open a new Bella Italia restaurant.
Mark Nelson, managing director of concessions and franchising at Casual Dining Group, said: "We're a very diverse business with a range of specialist skills that have been honed over decades operating high street restaurants. Calling on this knowledge, we have taken our key learnings and offered help to adjacent industries like the hotel trade, with putting together a food and beverage offer that absolutely drives sales. Matching the right offer, with the right demographic is imperative to success and these two deals, at differing ends of the market, clearly demonstrate the range of our capabilities."
The news follows a three-year deal between CDG and Cineworld that will see its unlimited cardholders given a 25% discount across its brands.
