Caprice Holdings, the owner of the Ivy and Sexy Fish, has purchased the site of Bruno Loubet's restaurant, Grain Store, in Granary Square King's Cross.
Caprice Holdings confirmed the purchase in a statement which read: "As of August 2017, Caprice Holdings has entered the licensing process for a space on Granary Square, 1-3 Stable St, Kings Cross, London N1C 4AB, to open a new restaurant."
Loubet opened the Grain Store with the Zetter Group in 2013. It closed for good yesterday.
As Loubet announced his retirement, partners Michael Benyan and Mark Sainsbury of the Zetter Group decided they would not continue operating the restaurant.
Caprice Holdings' portfolio of restaurants includes: Daphne's; Scotts; Sexy Fish; the Ivy; 34 Mayfair; J. Skeekey; Le Caprice; the Mount Street Deli; Rivington; and Urban Caprice.
