The flagship hotel and conference centre within the Imago Venues portfolio at Loughborough University is to undergo a £3m refurbishment.
Starting in April, the refurbishment of all 186 bedrooms at Burleigh Court hotel will take place in several phases to enable the property to remain open throughout the improvements.
Hayley Hardy, senior business development manager at Imago Venues, said: "We are continually investing in our product and offering, to ensure it remains not just fit for purpose but industry leading.
"Our bedrooms have always been comfortable with all the facilities you would expect from a good quality four-star hotel but we want them to have a more luxurious and contemporary feel."
Future investments include £150,000 to be spent on upgrading Holywell Park conference centre, alongside improvements to the conference and meeting facilities at Burleigh Court.
Launched in 2003, Imago Venues is the overarching brand for Loughborough University's hotel, conference and events venues.
