The Bullitt Belfast hotel is to remain temporarily closed until the end of this week after a fire broke out at the property on Tuesday.
The hotel said the damage was being assessed. Around 60 firefighters were brought in to tackle the blaze earlier this week and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire is believed to have been accidental. All guests and staff were evacuated safely.
A statement on the hotel’s Facebook page said: “The team at Bullitt would like to extend their thanks to the Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service who worked tirelessly throughout the afternoon and evening to ensure the fire was under control at the hotel.
“We would also like to thank our dedicated and hardworking team who assisted in safe evacuation of all staff and guests and also assisted in re-accommodating those affected.
“We are currently assessing the damage and can confirm that the hotel will be temporarily closed until the end of this week as we await further details. Our reservations team are in the process of contacting all our guests who will be affected by this announcement. We can only apologise for the inconvenience this will cause and we thank you for your understanding and patience at this time.”
