Left Handed Giant has extended its crowdfunding campaign to fund a brewery and pub with a Casamia development kitchen.
The Bristol brewing company is crowdfunding to launch a new brewpub with a bar, restaurant and event space at Bristol's Finzels Reach development, and has already hit double its £450,000 target. Michelin-starred chef Sanchez-Iglesias (pictured) will be opening a development kitchen above the brewery, overlooking Bristol's floating harbour.
So far the campaign has raised £861,940 through 1,247 investors, and has been extended for 12 days or until it hits £1m. Left Handed Giant already operates a tap room in the city's St Philips area, which will be transformed into a dedicated mixed fermentation facility.
The money will go towards the company purchase of a long leasehold of the building, and the fit-out of the venue.
Sanchez-Iglesias owns and operates the fine dining restaurant Casamia in Bristol, as well as Paco Tapas and Pi Shop in the city.
