Seafood restaurant group Bonnie Gull is crowdfunding to improve its existing sites and support its UK-wide expansion.
After launching its first site in London's Fitzrovia in 2012, which showed a £157,000 profit this year, the brand opened a 23-cover restaurant in London's Soho last year and is set to launch a new ‘Salt 'n' Sauce' premium fish and chip brand next year in Oxford with a roll-out planned for across the UK.
The brand has so far raised £49,730 of a £200,000 target to fund its expansion, which also includes the re-fit and improvements to current sites and further Bonnie Gull restaurants in the pipeline.
Bonnie Gull was founded initially as a pop-up by Alex Hunter, a former private aviation executive, and Danny Clancy, who also co-owns the Beagle bar and restaurant in London's Hoxton.
