Barons Eden Group seeks buyer for four-property portfolio

The Barons Eden Group has brought three further properties to the market alongside Cotswold hotel the Dial House.

Grade II-listed, 15-bedroom hotel the Dial House in Bourton-on-the-Water, which was initially marketed in September 2018, has now been joined by Huxleys restaurant (pictured) and the Island House in Chipping Campden, as well as the Old Bank in Moreton-in-Marsh.

The 100-cover Huxleys has been operated by the group since 2012, while Island House in the high street was previously operated as a restaurant.

The Old Bank in Moreton-in-Marsh town centre has planning permission for conversion to a 10-bedroom hotel with restaurant and bar.

James Greenslade, associate director of the hotels team at Savills, which is marketing the properties for sale either individually or as a portfolio, said: "These four charming assets provide a rare opportunity to acquire properties in the picturesque Cotswolds villages. Each one is unique in its character and all provide a range of opportunities for new owners; in particular, the redevelopment of Island House could work well in conjunction with the existing operation at Huxleys."

Adrian Pearson of Barons Eden Group added: "We are choosing to sell our Cotswold assets in order to concentrate on expanding our portfolio of larger hotels and spas."

The group also operates Eden Hall day spa in Nottinghamshire and the 96-bedroom Hoar Cross hall spa and hotel in Staffordshire.
