Pan-Asian restaurant Pan Chai is looking for people "with real passion" to take on a franchise as the brand looks to expand nationwide.
Pan Chai has a site in luxury department store Harrods, but is launching a franchise with a view to establish a presence in affluent city-centres across the UK.
Three franchise models will be available: casual dining, fine dining, and quick service restaurants. The brand will support franchisees through the entire process, including offering help with recruitment, training, marketing and PR. Set up costs will vary according to size and location.
Pan Chai in Harrods Food Halls opened two years ago, and offers high-end sushi and pan-Asian dishes. As a provisional member of the British Franchise Association (BFA), it is now aiming to expand following an appearance at the BFA's National Franchise Exhibition.
Commenting on the launch, Pan Chai director Andrew Lloyd said: "The brand is unique, exciting, and since its launch two years ago, Pan Chai has enjoyed tremendous success. Now we are looking for the right people to join us, follow our proven system, and establish the Pan Chai brand in other parts of the UK."
Owner Eddie Lim added: "It has long been my ambition to bring high-end, luxurious pan-Asian food to the UK market and I can already see its influence growing. Creating a Pan Chai franchise brings Asian fine-dining across the UK, and is a great opportunity for anyone looking to become involved with a luxury Asian brand."
