The Apartment Group (TAG) is set to open a £2m luxury cabin park at its Newton Hall boutique hotel in Northumberland next month.
Opening on 1 June, Cabin Walk at Newton by the Sea has been developed by owner Duncan Fisher and chief executive Debrah Dhugga with 27 cabin bedrooms.
The detached lodges have been given a Scandinavian style, while the double cabins are themed from ‘retro comfy’ to ‘funky Miami’. Each have their own decking stretching around a private garden, some with private hot hub or outdoor shower and fire pit.
Cabin guests will be looked after by an estate host situated in the Cabin Hub with a room service offering and catering options including dining in the hotel, pub grub from TAG’s nearby pub the Joiners Arms, beach picnics, freshly caught fish cooked on the beach, pizza nights at the open-air kitchen, fire pit barbecues and ‘feast gatherings’. A butler will attend to the cabins offering pre-dinner drinks.
Dhugga said: “With the support of an amazing team of individuals, garden designers, various interior designers and talented trades people, the extended estate has been turned into an incredible luxury experience. All the while maintaining sustainability and keeping locality at its core. The team pooled together the vision, and the scope of ideas for the estate it is wonderful to see it come to life.” The cabins will be priced from £175 per night bed and breakfast.
