Mark Jarvis’s Anglo is to take up residency in hospitality’s private members' club Trade from Monday.
To coincide with the launch of Anglo@Trade, the club, from master sommeliers Xavier Rousset and Gearoid Devaney, will offer a limited number of tables to non-members for the first time.
Jarvis said: "I'm incredibly excited to be involved in this new venture, bringing Anglo to Soho. I’m looking forward to providing something new for Trade’s members and Anglo fans who manage to snag one of the limited non-member tables.”
Taking the reins in the kitchen will be head chef Anthony Raffo, who has previously headed the kitchens of Texture and Pied a Terre in London.
Raffo will serve an all-day menu of small plates featuring favourite dishes from Jarvis’ original Anglo in Farringdon, as well as à la carte dishes and a five-course tasting menu, which will include fermented mushrooms and black truffle risotto, and venison with junipers, black pepper, celeriac and pickled blackberries.
Rousset said: “We can’t wait for our members to try Mark’s eclectic new menu and are thrilled to be opening Trade’s doors to a limited number of non-members for the first time.”
