Amber Taverns has reported a fall in operating profits of almost 20% despite a 14% increase in turnover.
Financial results for the year to 4 February show turnover of £74.2m, with like-for-like sales up 1.7%.
Despite the increased turnover, operating profits fell to £7m, compare to £8.7m the previous year.
Within the report, filed with Companies House, Amber Taverns said wet-led pubs remained competitive despite seeing price increases from suppliers and the introduction of the sugar tax.
Amber Taverns had 137 trading sites with one further site undergoing refurbishment as of 4 February.
