Big Table Group, operator of Las Iguanas, Bella Italia and Café Rouge, is to launch its new premium dining brand in London’s Soho this month.
The company has taken a site at 25 Argyll Street to open the first Amalfi Ristorante venue in the capital following a trial at Center Parcs Woburn last year.
The restaurant will offer an Italian-inspired menu, including sourdough pizzas, fresh pasta, carpaccio, and cocktails.
The restaurant will be split across two floors and seat 152 covers, with an outdoor terrace for up to 20 guests. It will be decorated with mosaic marble flooring and terracotta tiles and feature a garden room, designed to evoke the Amalfi coast.
Alan Morgan, chief executive of the Big Table Group, said: “We can’t wait to bring Amalfi to the Soho area. With a rising demand for effortlessly luxury dining we are excited for Londoners and visitors alike to experience all that the new restaurant has to offer.”
Big Table Group was formed in 2020 after Casual Dining Group was bought out of administration by private equity firm Epiris and rebranded. It operates more than 150 restaurants in the UK and Ireland.
