Jenny Hanlon is set to join pub group Adnams as its new chief financial officer, following the planned retirement of Stephen Pugh after 16 years with the business.
Hanlon will join the business on 15 June from Global Risk Partners, where she was deputy chief financial officer. She also previously held the role of finance manager at pub company Greene King.
She said: “I am extremely excited to join Adnams as I will get the opportunity to work alongside all those who have built this business to what it is today. Adnams is an iconic business that cares deeply about always doing the right thing and I look forward to what we can achieve in the years to come.”
Andy Wood, chief executive of Adnams, added: “Jenny is a great addition to our team and will, I am sure, make a positive impact on the business now and in the future. We have more than 2,700 years of service in our business and people are at the heart of everything we do.
“I would like to thank Stephen for his years of service to Adnams and for what he has done to support the business over the last 16 years. We wouldn’t be the business we are without his significant contribution.”
Employing more than 550 people, Adnams was founded in 1872 and, as well as brewing and distilling, has more than 55 properties including pubs, inns, hotels and shops throughout East Anglia.
