The 279-bedroom Hilton Manchester Deansgate has appointed Adam Reckert as general manger.
The move marks a return to Hilton for Reckert who started his career on the company's Elevator Graduate Programme. He went on to work for Hilton in Abuja, Barcelona, the Seychelles and Abu Dhabi, and most recently was general manager of the Radisson Blu Liverpool.
Reckert previously worked in Manchester as general manager of the city's Abode hotel, hotel manager of the Macdonald Manchester Hotel & Spa and director of operations at the Marriott Victoria & Albert hotel.
He said he was "thrilled" to join the property. "It's one of the most iconic hotels in the north west, and with the wonderful team we have in place, we're capable of delivering some truly exceptional experiences for our guests.
Hilton Manchester Deansgate occupies 23 floors of the iconic 47-storey Beetham Tower and is home to the city's highest bar Cloud 23, on the 23rd floor, and the Podium bar and restaurant on the ground floor.
