AccorHotels to launch new Greet brand

AccorHotels is set to launch a new brand called Greet, a spokesperson for the French hospitality company has confirmed.

 

No further details were available, however French newspaper Le Figaro yesterday reported that the brand would focus on small, independent hotels of 50-70 bedrooms, with little to no brand standardisation other than the requirement of a bar area.

 

The newspaper reported that the brand is due to launch this summer. Greet would be AccorHotels' 34th brand. The group has a global portfolio of more than 4,600 hotels, resorts and residences across 100 different countries, with more than 200 properties across 10 brands in the UK.
