30 James Street hotel restaurant to get rooftop terrace extension

Carpathia restaurant at Signature Living's 30 James Street hotel in Liverpool is undergoing an extension to create a rooftop terrace.

Set to be completed by the end of March, the new £300,000 terrace will double the restaurant's covers from 63 to 125, and will overlook Liverpool's waterfront and the city's Liver Building.

The new terrace will have floor to ceiling windows and will also be open to exclusive events bookings.

Katie Kenwright, co-owner of Signature Living, said: "Carpathia's rooftop terrace is one of Liverpool's hotspots for outdoor drinks and dining and when the weather is warmer, is in very high demand. This extension will allow room for more people to enjoy the stunning views of our city, while having small plates, our classic afternoon tea or delicious cocktails."
