The 2020 PEAs – refreshed and ready for early-bird entries

The Caterer's Product Excellence Awards (PEAs), now in their seventh year, are the only cross-sector showcase of the very best products available to operators in hospitality.

The PEAs recognise excellence and innovation in food, drink and equipment across the sector and offer suppliers the opportunity to promote these products to The Caterer’s extensive online and print audience.

The PEAs are judged by panels of industry experts and winners are presented with their awards at a pre-Christmas event in association with Delaware North, one of the largest privately held hospitality companies in the world.

The PEAs provide a stage for the marketing of these products and encapsulate the creativity, responsibility, sustainability and originality in our industry.

The 2020 PEAs have a dynamic new look and include several new categories, including vertical and accelerated cooking equipment, service and spare parts, health and wellbeing, sustainable products and packaging and low- and no-alcohol drinks.

The 2020 PEAs is launching with a special early bird entry fee this month of just £199. Lisa Jenkins, products and suppliers editor of The Caterer, is encouraging all hospitality food, drink and equipment suppliers to enter: “You cannot buy marketing like this. Winning a PEA gives you a recognised logo to use on your products, a ‘stamp of approval’, if you like. The judging process is robust, and trophies are only awarded to the worthiest suppliers.”

Elliott Moore, general manager at the London Stadium, said of last year’s awards: “The London Stadium delivers food and beverage to more than a million visitors a year at various events including West Ham United games, MLB baseball events, concerts and athletics, as well as meetings and events.

"In order to deliver these events and exceed customer expectations, it is imperative that we have first-class products to incorporate into our food and beverage offerings. The PEAs recognise the fantastic achievements of first-class producers and suppliers of products from all sectors and we are proud to be associated with these awards.”
