Catering equipment supplier Nisbets has acquired Beaumont TM Limited (‘Beaumont’) for an undisclosed sum.
Beaumont carries a range of bar accessories ranging from traditional spirit measures to the latest trends in cocktail-making accessories. It operates a manufacturing and warehousing facility in Flitwick, Bedfordshire, where it dispatches thousands of products a day to a network of distributors ranging from cash and carries to catering equipment and bar and hygiene specialists.
Under the Nisbets umbrella, Beaumont will have access to additional growth opportunities in the pubs and bar sector, broader hospitality sector, as well as access to additional international markets where Nisbets already has a presence. The deal will enable Nisbets to expand its knowledge, range and proposition, creating further opportunities for growth.
Peter Sephton, executive chair of Nisbets, said: “We are delighted to welcome Beaumont to the Nisbets family. Beaumont has a strong brand and reputation, which its team has built since its establishment nearly 45 years ago.
"We are keen to preserve this separate identity and as such Beaumont will continue to operate as a standalone business. The company operates in a market with strong growth potential and by leveraging our operating model and omni-channel expertise, we believe we can scale quickly and efficiently.”
Nick DeBorde, Beaumont’s managing director, added: “We are really pleased with the new collaboration between Nisbets and Beaumont. The past few years have seen new opportunities arise for both companies, which will undoubtedly provide further areas for growth particularly considering the existing synergy between the two companies.
"The combination of support and expertise from Nisbets, with our knowledge and passion for barware and with myself staying as managing director, will allow us to continually nurture all of our existing customers the way we have done for 45 years”.
