Exclusive Ranges has launched ER Bespoke, its suite of own-brand, mid-range cooking equipment. Operators can choose from induction hobs, slide control power hobs, planchas, electric chargrills, pasta cookers, ovens, refrigerators and drop-in fryers to create their own personalised cook suite. Each suite features 3mm stainless steel tops mounted on stainless steel plinths, double-skinned doors and panels, front-access service for easier maintenance and integrated fabrication for seamless installation.

BGL Rieber has added the Metos CulinoPro intelligent combination cooking kettle to its portfolio. The CulinoPro range can cook liquid and semi-liquid food such as soups, sauces, curries and mashed vegetables. The range comes in sizes from 40-400 litres, and features a digital touchscreen, automatic cooling using tap water, preset mixing patterns and a ‘teacher status’ feature, which provides training for kitchen staff. HACCP software records all temperatures, and data can be downloaded to a USB stick for monitoring purposes. Installation options include free-standing.

FEM’s new Klondike countertop deep-fat fryer uses induction technology to deliver fast heat-up times. The eight-litre fryer, manufactured by Sirman, measures 290mm wide by 440mm deep and 407mm high, so can fit into tight spaces. The large frying basket can hold up to 1kg of food, while a tap can be used for oil changes. The temperature ranges from 60°C to 190°C, and swift recovery time makes it suitable for fresh and frozen ingredients.

Eloma has introduced its latest Backmaster baking oven, the EB 30, featuring the MT technology control system. The compact unit, distributed in the UK by Hubbard Systems, is just 600mm wide by 605mm deep and 530mm high, and can hold three 440mm by 350mm trays with the capacity to bake 36 bread rolls at once. The EB 30 can store hundreds of recipes with up to 20 steps, to help unskilled staff produce consistent results: users can simply scroll to find and start cooking programmes.

For sites where counter space is limited, Vollrath has launched a 2/4-long countertop warmer. The stainless steel half-size food warmer has a 6ft cord and accommodates pan sizes including 2/4, 1/4 and 1/6 pans up to 150mm deep, allowing operators to hold multiple menu items at once. Ten heat settings range from 40°C to 200°C for gentle warming through to holding hot foods at serving temperature. The warmer operates at just 0.5kW for energy efficiency and is supplied with a two-year back to base warranty.
