Q Catering Supplies and Dennis Thomson Foodservice join Fairway

Q Catering Supplies and Dennis Thomson Foodservice have joined Fairway Foodservice.

Joining Fairway will give Q Catering immediate access to experienced professional buyers with intimate knowledge of the complete portfolio required to succeed, commented Roger Snelling, managing director of Q Catering Supplies.

We also benefit from better prices negotiated from the centre but just as importantly we can get guidance on market trends, full promotional support, and marketing support for our price lists," added Snelling.

Michael Watt general manager of Dennis Thomson said: "Our company decided to join Fairway in order to enhance our existing product range. It is an important time for our business as we are in the process of moving to new premises. The move will increase our storage capacity and Fairway has already given us much needed advice and has facilitated meetings with other members."

Fairway Foodservice is a buying and marketing organisation working on behalf of 18 foodservice delivered wholesalers in UK, Ireland, Channel Isles and Spain. The collective turnover of the Member companies in 2013 was £497m.
