The Catering Design Group (CDG) is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its principal design consultant, Mike Sinclair, who joined the business in 1993 and has worked exclusively in the catering and hospitality industry for 28 years.
Memorable projects during this time have included The Crypt Café for St Martin-in-the-Fields in the heart of London's Trafalgar Square and award-winning designs and catering facilities at the University of Glasgow, which won CDG the CEDA Grand Prix Award in 2009.
In 2012, Sinclair received a personal award from CEDA for his management of the design of the catering and hospitality areas at Silverstoneâs prestigious Pit, Paddock and Conference Complex which spanned approximately 10,000m2.Â
Philip Howard, managing director of the Catering Design Group, said:Â âIâd like to thank Mike for choosing to be part of CDG for the past 20 years. His passion and expertise in hospitality design is second to none and is evident in his many awards. Mike is at the very heart of our business, playing a fundamental role in our continued success. Heâs a great man to have around â" funny, witty and hugely respected by both his colleagues and clients.
