JJ Foodservice encourages record numbers of customers to order online

JJ Foodservice is handling record numbers of shoppers visiting their branches buying household essentials in bulk.

Customer numbers doubled at the weekend, according to head of operations at JJ Foodservice, Sedat Kaan Hendekli.

“We are doing everything we can to fulfil orders while promoting the safety of our teams”, said Kaan. “Ordering and paying online reduces the need to wait around – you can be in and out of a branch much faster, helping to minimise risk."

JJ has at the same time issued a statement “to reassure all customers that they have plenty of food and other essential items coming to us regularly from our manufacturers.”

Increased capacity has been put in place for holding goods at all warehouses, while some limits have been set on items like toilet roll and hand wash as a precautionary measure.
