Microsave has launched its Teflon cooking trays in a new size of 280mm x 180mm x 25mm. The trays are reinforced with a medical-grade stainless steel rim wrapped in Teflon, with a Teflon surface that is non-stick, waterproof, non-reactive, non-corrosive and easy to clean. They trays are available in four colours to prevent cross-contamination and allow chefs to optimise oven space by accommodating multiple trays simultaneously.

Food preparation equipment brand Dito Sama, part of the Electrolux Professional Group, is now available in the UK via supplier Mitchell & Cooper. The range of products includes precision-engineered vegetable cutters and the Prep4You line, designed to assist with kitchen efficiency. The Prep4You 2.6-litre food processor offers a compact solution with a simple, single-speed motor and a microtooth blade for mixing, blending, mincing and grinding.

Lordwell Catering Equipment, based in Tamworth, has added the GrabbGo silicone-moulded rubber hot plate carrier to its product range. Chef and catering industry veteran Jerry Hewitt – the carrier’s inventor – is retiring, so Lordwell bought up existing stock with plans to develop it further. The GrabbGo allows servers to carry hot plates from kitchen to table instead of a serving cloth or tea towel. It’s heat resistant to 200°C and can be washed in the dishwasher.

Prowrap is releasing a new extra-large version of its pre-cut foil sheets. The sheets measure 300mm x 400mm and will be available in packs of 250. They have been developed in collaboration with Prowrap’s customers, who have reported an increase in demand for larger menu items such as burgers and hot dogs. The 100% recyclable sheets keep food hot and fresh for longer and are available in a practical dispenser box.
