Charcoal grills for indoor or outdoor cooking

FEM has added Pujadas charcoal grills to its portfolio, in both open and robata variants. The grills can be used in indoor, open or outdoor kitchens and have a tilting mechanism with three positions: for lighting the charcoal, for cooking and collecting the fat. The open grill has a large cooking area and can be supplied with either V-shaped or rod bars, and the robata can grill at three cooking levels. Both can be supplied mounted on a mobile cabinet or as a countertop unit.

Price Countertop robata grill, from £5,580

Filtered coffee on the move

Kimbo UK has launched Kimbo In-Cup, freshly ground 100% Arabica filtered coffee in a cup with an integrated filter. Just remove the aluminium foil seal on the coffee in the bottom of the cup, add hot water and replace the lid, which acts as a filter. Milk and sugar can be added without the need for the lid to be removed.

Price Case of 150 cups, from £73.50

Low-sugar Prosecco in a can

Prosecco brand ThinK Wine is now available in a canned format for outside and on-the-go sales. The cans of vegan Prosecco and sparking rosé join the full-size bottles and mini bottles in the existing product range. The 11% abv Prosecco is made with Glera grapes from Italy’s Treviso region and contains 1g of residual sugar in comparison with up to 11g for other canned Prosecco brands.

Price 200ml can, £2.50

Sustainable seaweed spoons

Sustainable packaging firm Notpla has unveiled a new rigid ice-cream spoon made from seaweed. The plastic-free alternative for frozen treats is designed to remain stiff during use and is tasteless. It’s made from Notpla’s patented ‘Rigid’ material, which complies with the EU Single-Use Plastics Directive, and can be disposed of with food waste and biodegrades after use. The UK-manufactured spoon is allergen-free.

Price Case of 1,000 spoons, £70

Self-serve chocolate orange milkshake

Milkshake provider f’real has created a chocolate orange flavour for autumn. The milkshake comes pre-sealed in a cup, which operators store in f’real’s chilled unit alongside its blender. Consumers can then peel off the lid and place the cup in the blender to create the milkshake. The machines feature automatic sanitisation and minimal cleaning.

Price 350ml milkshake, £3.50
